LifeandLeadership.com Summary

This is a brief booklet (only 68 pages) that comes our of Hybel’s experiences when the standard principles of good leadership were confronted with the often opposite principles from scripture and the promptings of the spirit. He relates his own journey through the Gospel of Mark which forced upon him a migration from “Build a Team of Highly Qualified Leaders” to Jesus’ own practice, “Bet on a Rag-Tag Team.” Another shift was from “Keep Up the Momentum” to “Derail the Momentum Train.” Get this little booklet and read it on your next flight or waiting room vigil, and be reminded again of the upside-down nature of spiritual leadership.
